MANIA!
Denver's Gone To Pot

A New Vaudevillesque Pot Opera

Reefer Mania! Denver’s Gone To Pot is a new show starring Reyna Von Vett (aka Cora Vette) and the BurlyCuties. It features vintage songs from the 20’s and 30’s about marijuana. Reyna Von Vett performed for more than one million guests over three years as Tanya in Mamma Mia! at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. She started BurlyCute Presents...and now calls Denver home. The music for Reefer Mania, arranged by David Nehls the Music Director for the Arvada Center, includes over 30 vintage reefer tunes such as: “Reefer Man”, “When I Get Low I Get High” and “If You’re A Viper”.

Reefer Mania will be staged this summer at the Crossroads Theater On The Rail, the newest addition to the City of Denver’s Division of Theatres and Arenas. It will be a crazy celebration of Singing, Dancing Girls and Sticks of Tea!

Leadville or BUST!
Vintage Denver Gets Naughty

A Comic Burlesque Operetta

More information:
www.LeadvilleorBust.com
“Leadville or Bust” is a celebration of the original girlie shows enjoyed by the miners and settlers of the Old West. As an almost lost art, the origins of Burlesque were naughty and bawdy shows full of double entendre and gorgeous dancing girls in tights. Before burlesque became “strip-tease,” oldtime burlesque shows were simply “tease.”

Reyna Von Vett and Hell’s Belles dance and sing in tight four-part harmonies to fun, turn-of-the-century songs like “Ragtime Cowboy Joe,” “Alexander’s Ragtime Band” and “Seeing Denver” to bawdy songs like “Sam the Hot Dog Man,” “Hot Nuts (Get ‘Em From The Peanut Man),” “Press My Button (Ring MyBell)” and many more…
