The shows

Everything here has been built, sold and performed, most of it more than once. Each one travels. Pick the shape that fits your room, or tell her the room and let her pick.

All shows are 21+ unless marked. Reyna Von Vett's concert set is all-ages.

For Adults Only

Spicy songs and dirty jokes. High class, low brow.

A late-night cabaret of bawdy jazz and blues from the 1920s through the 1950s, the kind of songs that got banned from radio and never came back, with Cora's own stand-up between numbers. It ran weekly in Las Vegas at Lost Spirits Distillery and then at The Golden Tiki, and it is the show most venues book first.

It works as a solo set with tracks in a bar or lounge, or with a live band in a bigger room, and it scales from an hour to a full evening with guest burlesque acts.

Best for
Bars, lounges, tiki rooms, speakeasies, supper clubs, distilleries. Weekly residency or recurring monthly.
Has played
Lost Spirits Distillery and The Golden Tiki, Las Vegas
Music
Songs from her albums Lost and Found and Smokin' Reefers

Tickled Pink

A delicious confection of pinkness.

A pink-themed dirty jazz and blues revue with a full cast of burlesque performers, Cora singing throughout and hosting. It premiered at The Oriental Theater in Denver with the Chevettes, Anastasia DuPree, Gigi O'Lovely and Evangeline Caine, after a year of extra rehearsal when the pandemic pushed it back twice. Every costume is pink. Most of the songs are filthy.

Best for
Theatres and cabaret rooms. Valentine's week, Pride, spring benefit season.

GALS Weekender

Grown Ass Ladies. Burlesque has no expiration date.

A showcase of burlesque, comedy, song and dance by performers who have been doing this long enough to be very, very good at it. Cora produced and hosted the first one at The Oriental Theater with twenty-two performers from across the United States and Canada, from Vancouver to Cocoa Beach. It sold on a simple idea: experience is sexy.

Best for
Theatres, festivals, casino showrooms. Works as a single night or a full weekend.

Mile HIGH Burlesque Fest

Denver's Dankest Fest in the West. Since 2017.

Her flagship. Two nights, two casts, two venues over 4/20 weekend in Denver, with a national open call, name headliners, a competition for the titles of Most High, Master of Munchies and Best Buds, and Cora on the mic for all of it. Headliners have included Raquel Reed and Jessabelle Thunder, the reigning Miss Exotic World.

The Fest is the clearest picture of what she does as a producer, so it has its own page.

Best for
Cities and venues that want a festival-scale burlesque weekend built from scratch, or a satellite edition
Has played
The Oriental Theater, HQ Denver, The Federal Theatre

Holiday and themed revues

Give her a date on the calendar and she'll give you a reason to sell it out.

Across years of weekly and monthly nights in Denver, Cora built a catalogue of themed revues that she can restage with a local cast or bring with touring performers. They are written to a theme, costumed to the theme and sold on the theme, which is why they filled bars on weeknights in January.

The musicals

Two full-length burlesque musicals, written by Cora.

Leadville or BUST! is a Victorian comic burlesque operetta: authentic period dance-hall songs, bawdy and four-part harmonised, with Cora as the Madam and her three ladies, built with a Colorado historian's help. It ran a month at Denver's Crossroads Theater, then three months at the Denver Civic Theatre, and Westword called it "a perfect evening of just-naughty-enough entertainment."

Reefer Mania: Denver's Gone to Pot is a pot opera: thirty vintage reefer songs, arranged for the stage, all singing, all dancing, all smoking, with Cora as Mary Jane and a chorus line named after strains. It ran five weeks at the Crossroads Theater. A one-act cousin, The Cannabis Cabaret, played the Pot Pavilion at the Denver County Fair.

Best for
Theatres, fringe festivals, dispensary and cannabis-industry events, Colorado and Nevada history programming
Format
Licensed to a local company with Cora directing and starring, or toured with her cast

Hosting and emcee work

Hand her the running order. Go pour drinks.

Festivals book her because she can hold a room of six hundred between acts, cover a costume change with a song, and work a crowd without working blue if the room needs it clean. She has hosted the London Burlesque Festival, the New Orleans Burlesque Festival, the Edmonton Burlesque Festival, Show Me Burlesque in St. Louis, Hot Rods and Heels in Dallas, the Texas Burlesque Festival, Southern Fried in Atlanta, the Viva Las Vegas Burlesque Showcase, the Southwest Burlesque Showcase in Albuquerque, the Hollywood Burlesque Festival and ABurlyQ.

Best for
Festivals, revues, galas, awards nights, drag and burlesque brunches, corporate parties that want a real host

Reyna Von Vett, in concert

The clean one. Same voice, more clothes.

Under her own name, Reyna sings vintage jazz and blues with a live piano trio for audiences who want the voice without the vice. She has played it in Denver Public Library's Schlessman Hall with some of the best jazz players in Colorado, and it suits daytime festivals, corporate receptions, museums and private events. Three years in Mamma Mia! at Mandalay Bay is the resume.

Best for
All-ages and corporate rooms, libraries, museums, weddings, daytime stages
Format
Voice with piano trio; solo with pianist on request
